in-person and virtual counseling for
adults in texas
helping you navigate uncertainty
so you can feel validated.
You’ve spent your days (maybe years) navigating the same relationships and upholding the same expectations. But now you crave a change. You are more aware of your lack of relationship fulfillment and struggles to connect. The status quo is no longer good enough; it feels harder to pretend that everything is ok.
I use an integrated therapeutic approach to help clients identify emotions and find the words to make sense of their world with respect to past and present circumstances.

my approach
Brainspotting and EMDR are evidence-based forms of therapy developed specifically to treat symptoms created by trauma. Trauma can be a result of major and/or minor events in someone’s life. When I help a client engage in self-discovery or identify formation work, I start by gathering information about life experiences and life events. In most cases, I discover some form of trauma that has impacted the sense of self and impacted identity development. When I work with clients, I start with learning about your life experiences followed by psychoeducation and emotional awareness. These steps set the stage for determining the best course of treatment for the client.
